Oh, how I love the romance of an evening wedding in early December. The holiday craze hasn't begun to set in yet and the weather usually cooperates. Plus there's just something about the flickering of candle light that adds that extra bit of magic and sparkle to an already magical day.  Add the perfect venue, with a couple in love and you've got the perfect recipe for a spectacular wedding.

This sweet couple chose the luxury wedding resort, The Red Lion Inn in Cohasset, MA. The Inn is perfect for the couple who want a location that can house the wedding party and out of town guests. The Barn offers a sense of rustic elegance and works great for the ceremony and reception.

I love how they chose floral choices to compliment their wedding invitation. They went with simple greenery and baby's breath for centerpieces, cake and the sweetheart table.

The bride wanted her bouquet pallet to include shades of deep burgundy, ivory and blush with greenery. All of the additional pieces followed suit and contrasted beautifully with the brides beautiful beaded gown and the grooms classic black tux.

My favorite line of the day was when the bride said to me, " my bouquet matches my nail color and my lipstick!"  " You Nailed it!"  Music to a floral designers ears!

If the bridal bouquet still looks beautiful turned upside down, you've done your job well.

A beautiful and successful wedding is made up of dreams and ideas that come to life through the engaged couples vision, the venues and vendors that work hard to bring all the parts together on the big day. Seeing everyone looking beautiful and happy is my greatest reward and why I love growing and playing with flowers.

Thank you, Shannon Grant for making my work look so beautiful.
